The full review

Bitget built its growth on copy trading and it remains the differentiator. The leaderboard exposes drawdown, win rate and holding period rather than just headline return, and allocation controls are granular enough to cap your exposure per leader.

Everything else is competent rather than class-leading. Spot is 0.10% both sides, perps are 0.02%/0.06% — a shade more expensive on the taker side than Binance and OKX. Liquidity in majors is fine; below that it thins out.

The protection fund is unusually large for the platform’s size and is published on-chain, which is a meaningful commitment. The operating history is short, though, and history is most of what a security score measures.

How we reviewed Bitget

We scored Bitget against the same nine criteria we apply to every exchange: fees, security, liquidity, features, ease of use, support, country availability, deposit options and long-term track record. Fee figures come from the exchange’s own published schedule (verified 2026-09-04), availability from its terms and support documentation, and the incident history from primary reporting and the exchange’s own disclosures.

This review was written by Vetted Exchanges Editorial Team and fact-checked by Vetted Exchanges Review Board. It is scheduled for re-verification by 2026-12-04, and sooner if Bitget changes its pricing, its country availability, or its security posture. Vetted Exchanges Editorial Team holds no position in Bitget or its token, and the affiliate relationship disclosed above played no part in the score.
