Vetted Exchanges

Affiliate disclosure

Plain version: some links here earn us money. Here is exactly how that works.

How we make money

Vetted Exchanges is funded by affiliate commission. When you open an account with an exchange through a link on this site, that exchange typically pays us a share of the trading fees you generate, or a one-off bounty for a qualified signup. Commercial links are marked rel="sponsored" and route through our /go/ redirect.

What it costs you

Nothing. The price you pay is the same, and in several cases it is lower — many referral links carry a permanent trading-fee discount that you would not get by signing up directly.

What it does not affect

  • Scores. The nine sub-scores are set by the criteria in our methodology, and commission is not one of them.
  • Rankings. Every list is computed from those scores by an algorithm, not ordered by hand.
  • Coverage. We cover exchanges that matter to readers, including ones that pay us nothing, and we say plainly when an exchange is the wrong choice.
  • Content. No exchange has, or has ever had, the right to review or approve anything we publish about it.

Where commission data lives

We record each programme’s commercial terms internally for revenue forecasting. That data is structurally separate from the scoring model: it is never read by the ranking engine, which is why the ranking cannot be influenced by it even accidentally.

Conflicts and holdings

Contributors do not trade the exchange tokens of venues they cover and do not hold positions that a review could move. If that ever changes for a specific review, it will be disclosed on that review.
