Corrections policy
We get things wrong. Here is what happens when we do.
Report an error
Email editorial@vettedexchanges.exchange with the page URL and the specific claim. If you have a primary source that contradicts ours, include it — that turns a debate into a fix.
What we do
- Factual errors — corrected within two business days of confirmation, with the page’s last-reviewed date updated.
- Material errors — anything that could have changed a reader’s decision (a wrong fee, a wrong availability claim, a wrong security statement) is corrected and noted at the foot of the page, saying what was wrong and when it changed.
- Score disputes — if an exchange or a reader argues a sub-score is wrong, we re-examine the evidence for that sub-score. If it moves, the ranking moves with it automatically, because rankings are computed rather than curated.
What we will not do
- Remove accurate, sourced criticism because a partner asked.
- Change a score in exchange for commercial terms.
- Delete a page to make a correction disappear.
