Editorial policy

Sourcing

• Every fee, availability and security claim traces to a primary source — the exchange’s own documentation, a regulator, or court and enforcement filings.
• Every such claim carries a verification date and a confidence label, visible to the reader.
• Where a figure could not be confirmed on an official page, the page says so instead of presenting it as fact.

Two-person rule

Nothing touching fees, security, regulation or country restrictions publishes on one person’s judgement. A second reviewer checks each claim against its cited source before publication and signs the page.

Update cycle

• Every review carries a scheduled next-review date, at most one quarter out.
• Pricing changes, security incidents and availability changes trigger an immediate re-check.
• Pages past their review date are flagged in our build output so they cannot quietly rot.

What we will not do

• Publish a paid placement as if it were an editorial ranking.
• Let an exchange review, approve or edit content about itself.
• Publish price predictions, or anything that reads as personalised financial advice.
• Recommend an exchange to readers in a country where it does not accept them.
• Use AI to generate a published claim about fees, regulation, security or country restrictions without a human verifying it against the primary source.
