MEXC alternatives

Ranked by the reason you are leaving. Every list below is computed from the same published sub-scores as the rest of the site, with MEXC removed.

MEXC is the exchange people leave once the first trade of real size fills badly. Zero maker and 0.05% taker are the lowest headline rates on our list, and MEXC lists more assets than anyone — around 2,500 — but liquidity outside the majors is thin enough that the low fee is partly an illusion: a $5,000 market order in a mid-cap pair can cost more in slippage on MEXC than fee plus slippage at Binance. Add the weakest disclosure and support of the venues we cover, and pricing that is explicitly promotional and can be withdrawn without notice, and the reasons to keep a second account elsewhere write themselves.

The other trigger is access. MEXC blocks the United States, Canada, Singapore and Japan, and its limited-without-KYC tier — the reason some users chose it — is not something any regulated venue will replicate. A reader leaving MEXC for a licensed exchange should expect full identity verification before the first withdrawal.

When you should stay on MEXC

You trade small size in long-tail altcoins that nobody else lists, and you keep your main balance somewhere with better disclosure. As a specialist second venue MEXC is defensible; as a primary account it is not.

Frequently asked questions

Is any alternative as cheap as MEXC?

Not on headline rate — zero maker is unmatched. On effective cost including slippage, Binance, OKX and Bybit are frequently cheaper for anything beyond a few hundred dollars in a mid-cap pair. Use the fee calculator with your actual trade size.

Which alternatives list the most altcoins?

KuCoin (around 900) and Bitget (around 800) are the closest on breadth; Bybit lists around 600. None reaches MEXC's count, and none of the regulated US venues comes close.

Can I trade without KYC on any of these?

Bybit, OKX and Bitget offer tiered verification with limited functionality before full KYC. Every regulated venue requires full verification before withdrawal. There is no licensed substitute for MEXC's no-KYC tier.
